Sierra Veterinary Hospital is Stockton, California’s leading veterinary facility, providing a lifetime of love and care for your pets. Stocked full of flavor, Stockton is strategically situated along the California Delta, here, the river flows out to the coast, cultures converge, and the world comes together. We are strategically located an hour from Yosemite, 2 hours from Tahoe, and 2 hours from San Francisco. If variety is the spice of life, this is one hot city.
We are seeking to add a PT or FT Veterinarian to our busy and well-established 2-doctor small animal hospital and boarding facility. We emphasize preventive care and take a multi-disciplined approach to animal wellness. Our clients are exceptional and have come to expect the best in medical care and customer service from the entire veterinary health care team. In 2020 and 2021 we won Best Veterinary Clinic by San Joaquin Magazine and 2020 in The Record’s Best of San Joaquin. We continually strive to improve the care and service we provide our clients and are always open to new ideas and utilizing technological advances to better our practice.
Most importantly, we have an amazing, talented and motivated staff to help you manage your cases. We utilize our Techs to their fullest potential, allowing the doctors to work on their cases, write up their files, and to get home to your loved ones at a reasonable hour. Our hospital promotes a happy and collaborative environment. Our entire team takes great pride in our professionalism and high standard of care, but we have fun too, such as staff appreciation, parties, team building, volunteering, and fundraising.
If rescue work is near and dear to your heart, we work with the Animal Protection League, Stockton Animal Shelter, and Animal Friends Connection. Sierra is also the preferred hospital for the Stockton K-9 Police unit, and Stockton Port K-9 Police unit. If you or someone you know has been looking for a great work/life balance and a positive workplace environment, then Sierra is the perfect place.
